Tyler's All-Star LA State Championship

Tyler made the 7-8 yr. old machine pitch All-Star team this year, and Jeremy was picked to be an asst. coach. Their team is the undefeated District 4 Champs and the Louisiana State Runner-up in their division. We spent 6 nights in Lafayette for the State Championship games.

We had such a great time. The boys played so awesome.

Dana & her family came to Shreveport for a visit. They live in Salado, TX near Austin. This was the first time for me to see Aubrey since she was born. She is such a cutie. We had a great visit.

Hi MOM!!
We had a great time canoeing down the Buffalo River. This was Tyler & Papaw's first time to every canoe. Jeremy & I have been a few times. Papaw & Tyler started out together in a canoe. They flipped two times, and Tyler decided he wanted to get in the canoe with his dad. So I got in the canoe with Papaw (I had to help him stay up right HA! HA!) We got to this one rapid, white water area. It was shallow and rocky. We got stuck on a rock and it thru Papaw off balance, and there we went into the COLD water, moving fast across the the shallow rocks. I was holding on to my paddle and life jacket. I got bruised on my hip, and we lost our shoes. Papaw lost his paddle. Luckly someone caught our shoes and the paddle. There was alot of flipped over canoes at this spot. We saw about 5, while we were there. It was FUN!

We spent Memorial Weekend in Arkansas. We went to Beaver Fork Lake in Conway with my brother, Darr and his family. That is where he lives. We had a great time hanging out. Tyler loves to go see his cousins.
